Our Goal...
Building Blocks for a Cure has only one goal - do our part in helping to find a cure for cancer. We are not doctors or scientists, we're just regular people. Through various events and fund-raisers, like Relay for Life, we raise money to support all the wonderful things the American Cancer Society does to help the victims and survivors of cancer. Please join in our cause or support our team in any way you can -- visit our Relay for Life home page.
Your donation WILL help! Here are some of the ways you can help:
- Join our team as a team member to help raise funds
- Donate to our team and/or individual members
- Sign up as a"Survivor"
- Sponsor a "luminaire" for the candle lighting ceremony at the Relay
- Sponsor an "In Memory Of" star to display at the Contractors Institute offices
- Visit our "Boutique" at the Contractors Institute office to see our crafty items in exchange foryour donations
- Attend and participate in all the events at the Relay for Life event - walk around the track, buy and sell goodies -- food, games and fun for everyone!
Relay for Life "Tranquility" Quilt Raffle
Our 2012 Relay for Life Opportunity Quilt, “Tranquility”, is 57" x 74" has been lovingly pieced, appliquéd, and machine quilted by Rose Golsner and staff of A White Sewing and Fabric in Hudson, FL.
Tickets for this beautiful opportunity quilt are $1 each or 6/$5 and are available at Contractors Institute 8301 Joliet Street, Hudson, FL (727) 861-7225, A White Sewing & Fabric 15413 US 19, Hudson or at our Relay for Life event March 27-28 at Fivay High School, Hudson, FL. ALL proceeds from opportunity donations will benefit our team fundraiser for Relay for Life! Drawing will take place Saturday, March 28 at 8am sharp.
